GENERAL QUESTIONS
WHEN AND WHERE IS OPEN RADIUS?
Open Radius is happening on May 18 & 19 at PNE Centre Grounds. Doors open at 4PM each day. Food and various alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT RUN?
The event runs from 4pm - 10pm daily.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND?
Open Radius is 19+ only and guests will require 2 pieces of ID to enter.
ARE THERE INS AND OUTS?
There are no ins and outs during each festival day. If you leave earlier than the closing time of each day, you will not be able to re-enter without buying a new ticket (if available).
WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS ON SITE?
This event is 100% cashless. Only credit cards and debit cards are accepted on site.
IS THERE FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE?
A variety of food and beverage options will be available on site. Outside food and beverages are not permitted on site. However, personal amounts of factory sealed (unopened) snacks such as granola bars, protein bars, chips, etc. will be allowed.
CAN I BRING A WATER BOTTLE/HYDRATION PACK?
There will be free water stations on site for guests to fill their bottles. Water bottles cannot exceed 1 litre and must be soft-sided (squeezable) - no glass & hard-sided bottles, including hard plastic. Soft-sided (squeezable) hydration packs with a bladder that is 1 litre or less are permitted. Must be empty & open for inspection upon arrival and does not contain any hard or metal framing.
WHAT IS THE CAMERA POLICY?
Guests may use personal cameras (zoom lens cannot exceed 2 inches), Go-Pro cameras and mobile phones to take photos inside the venue. Detachable lenses and camera apparatus such as selfie-sticks, handles, etc. are not permitted. Professional video cameras or video recording devices are not permitted at the event.
CAN I BRING SUNSCREEN INSIDE?
Yes, cream and gel sunscreens are allowed. NOTE: Aerosols (spray on) sunscreens are not permitted.
CAN I SMOKE/VAPE IN THE VENUE?
Smoking & vaping is permitted at the designated smoking area inside the festival. All cigarette packages must be unopened (factory sealed). Vapes must have empty chambers and vape juice must be unopened or in factory sealed packaging. Single use vapes must be unopened or in factory sealed packaging.
TICKETS & ADMISSION
HOW DO I ACCESS MY MOBILE TICKET?
Before you reach the venue, download your tickets via the “Your Mobile Tickets are available to download&” email from Ticketleader@ticketleader.ca or log into “My Account” from your mobile and view “My Upcoming Events”. Once you select your event, view and add tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet.
**Note: You must access your account via a mobile device to add them to your wallet**
Open Wallet, select your event and show your mobile ticket at entry and you’re in!
PLEASE NOTE: SCREENSHOTS OF TICKETS AND PDF TICKETS WILL NOT WORK.
WHEN WILL TICKETS BE SENT TO ME?
Your tickets will arrive in the original ticket purchasers inbox 48 hours before showtime. If your
tickets have not arrived within 48 hours, please refer to the section below.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY TICKETS. HOW DO I FIND THEM?
Please try to first search original ticketholder’s inbox with the subject line: “Your mobile tickets have arrived”. Make sure you are checking the email that is linked to your TicketLeader account. If you still cannot locate your tickets, please reach out to info@ticketleader.ca or 604-252-3700 during call centre hours, and quote your confirmation number. You can also visit the box office on the day of the event. You cannot access your tickets through your TicketLeader account online.

HEALTH & SAFETY
IS THERE MEDICAL AT THE EVENT?
There sure is! Health & safety at our event is our number 1 priority. Medical tent and roaming teams are in place, be sure to note these locations upon entry to the event or ask event staff for help, if needed.
WHAT CAN I DO TO PROTECT MY HEALTH &SAFETY AT THE EVENT?
If you are reading this FAQ, you’re off to a great start! Be sure to:
Stay hydrated and drink lots of water
Wear sunscreen and dress for the weather
Do not bring prohibited items into the event
Follow our Fan Code Of Conduct for your and everyone’s safety
Keep an eye out for your friends
Follow instruction from event staff – they are here to help
If you see something, say something - report safety and security concerns immediately to event
security and staff.
BAG POLICY
For everyone’s safety, security and enjoyment, we ask you to only bring small clutches, belt bags, fanny-packs or bags that are clear (i.e. see-through) to allow us to safely and efficiently properly screen and welcome fans into the event. All bags and hand-carried items will be subject to search and screened for prohibited items prior to allowing entry to the venue.
Approved Bags:
Bags smaller than 6” x 9” (does not need to be clear)
Clear bag smaller than 12” x 6” x 12” (no bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”)
1-Gallon plastic freezer bag
Medically necessary and diaper bag
Soft sided (squeezable) hydration packs with a bladder that is 1 litre or less (Cannot exceed 1 litre) and does not contain any hard or metal framing.
SECURITY SCREENING
Guests are required to pass through security screening upon entry to the venue. Screenings will include a bag check, frisk search and metal detector screening. Refusal to submit to the security screening will result in denial of entry to the venue. Guests may be asked to provide picture ID based on observable concerns for public safety, and event security may deny entry on that basis. Any guest that is denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will not be issued a refund.
Prohibited Items
The following items are NOT permitted on site:
Aerosol containers of any kind
Animals (Service animals meeting the licensing requirements identified by the Province of British Columbia are allowed OR, if from out of province, the equivalent license/Identification card from the licensing body in their home state or province)
Any bag larger than 6”x 9”, with the exception of clear single compartment bags up to 12”x 6”x 12”, 1 gallon plastic freezer bags or medically necessary or diaper bags
Any item that can be used as a projectile, including but not limited to metal or hard sided water bottles
Artificial noise makers, including megaphones and air horns
Balloons or inflatables of any kind
Coolers
Costume masks
Drones
Flag poles or poles/long sticks of any kind
Gang or club clothing and/or gang or club support gear, including but not limited to banners, signs and flags
Gas masks
Glass of any kind
Hard-sided (Wood or metal framed) folding fans and any fan larger than 13.5” x 25”
Helmets, unless medically required
Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
Laser pointers of any kind
Markers, pens or spray paint
Musical instruments and Bluetooth speakers
Outside food & beverage, with the exception of medically necessary or prescribed items
Outside liquor
Perfume or cologne bottles
Pocket knives of any kind
POI, whips and other flow props
Portable chairs of any kind, including lawn chairs and stadium seats
Posters and signs, except for those purchased from an authorized merchandise vendor inside the event
Professional audio, video, or photography equipment (no detachable lenses, zoom lens 2 inches or greater, tripods or commercial/professional use camera assemblies)
Pyrotechnics of any kind, including fireworks, sparklers or firecrackers
Selfie Sticks and Go Pro apparatus
Skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, scooters, wheeled or motorized items intended to be ridden
Sports equipment (i.e., Frisbees, etc.)
Tactical clothing or equipment
Tents
THC or derivative products UNLESS in factory sealed (unopened) packaging from a licensed supplier (limited to legal restrictions)
Umbrellas
Walking sticks or canes of any kind unless it is a medical required mobility device
Water guns
Weapons of any kind and/or items that can be used as a weapon, including but not limited to large spikes, heavy wallet chains, bats/clubs, etc.
Any other item deemed unsafe by venue management
Permitted Items
The following items ARE permitted on site:
Pre-Packaged food that is factory sealed/unopened
Cigarette packs – Must be unopened in factory sealed packaging from a Provincially approved and regulated supplier
Empty refillable drink containers (NO Glass) ***Must be 1 litre in size or smaller and soft sided (squeezable). Limit 1 per person.
Go Pro Cameras ONLY. NO Go Pro apparatus, including selfie sticks, are allowed.
Gum – Must be unopened in factory sealed packaging
Hydration packs. Cannot exceed 1 litre bladder. Must be empty and open for inspection upon arrival. Must be soft sided and cannot have any hard or metal framing.
Medically prescribed/required medications (must be in prescription container and verified with owner produced government issued photo identification), food and beverage items
Personal cameras and mobile phones. No detachable lenses or zoom lenses 2 inches or greater.
Reasonable amounts of sunscreen (No aerosol containers allowed)
Service dogs. Note: Service dog teams must have an Alberta Service Dog Identification Card Get a service dog identification card | Alberta.ca OR, if from out of province, the equivalent license/Identification card from the government licensing body in their home state or province
Soft sided folding fans that do not exceed 13.5” x 25”
THC or derivative products must be in factory sealed (unopened) packaging from a provincially licensed supplier (limited to legal restrictions)
Vape juice E-liquid – Must be unopened, factory sealed and personal amount only
Vapes (must have empty chamber or be in unopened factory sealed container from licensed supplier)

Any bag 6” x 9” or smaller
Any single compartment clear bag 12”x 6”x12” or smaller
Medically necessary bags or diaper bags for infant or young children
FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
Open Radius is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask that your conduct contribute to everyone’s enjoyment of the event, be legally appropriate, and not be offensive or abusive to others. For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Use of foul, threatening, offensive or abusive language or gestures.
Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other.
Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behavior, physical contact or sexual attention.
Fighting or any other type of violence.
Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature.
Intoxication or impairment due to alcohol/cannabis or consumption of illegal substances.
Throwing objects or interfering with the progress of the event.
Being in possession of alcohol not purchased inside the festival grounds.
Being a minor in possession of alcohol or providing a minor with alcohol.
Being in possession of weapons, illegal substances or any other prohibited items.
Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vaporizers, and cannabis) in the venue & on the premise outside of the designated smoking area.
Unpermitted access and breaching perimeters to the festival areas or other restricted areas.
Any other conduct that may be deemed by event organizers to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event.
Open Radius will not tolerate any unsafe, offensive behaviour that violates our Fan Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by this Code may result in ejection & suspension from entering any/all of our associated venues.
Each of us has a responsibility to report any act that goes against the values that we stand for.
